about Your coach
Madeleine Wighton
I am a hopeful goose.
I long to live in a world that overflows with audacious hope. A world that celebrates silly goosery. A world that is full of courageous art made by risk-taking big dreamers.
But I wasn't always so hopeful. There was a time when I felt lost as a creative. I was working so incredibly hard but felt stuck and frustrated. I was overwhelmed by the constant rejections and wanted to give up.
How was I supposed to achieve my creative goals living like this? (Hint: I wasn't.)
But then a big shift happened. I invested in support. I decided to go slow as I learnt to trust that what was meant for me was going to happen in its own perfect timing (even if that didn't align with my own timeline). I created my dream creative life grounded in self-love and self-belief, that overflowed with little joys that fill me up. I found a bigger purpose than to “book the job” which gave me freedom to let go of the desperation and trust myself more.
And now what? I am kicking my creative goals in the butt and love supporting and cheering people on as they do the same. It makes my heart so, so happy.
I am an experienced and enthusiastic creative career and mindset coach. I also looove to help actors with self tapes, educate actors with my TVC Formula, and teach musical theatre singing. I create a warm, encouraging and fun environment for my clients so they feel safe and free to challenge themselves, refine their skills, and build courage and confidence. I am a big advocate for being playful and failing forward. What have you got to lose?
I am an award-winning filmmaker and director and have over six years of experience working in the industry as a professional actor. Notable screen credits include The PM's Daughter S2 (ABC/Fremantle), Superwog (Century Entertainment), Bernice (Hopeful Goose Creative), Sunny Jim (dir. Declan Arrighi), Ladies in Black (dir. Bruce Beresford), and for stage, Forgotten (dir. Maddie Diggins), The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Little Triangle), and Les Miserables (Packemin).
I have received a Bachelor Arts (Music Theatre) with Distinction, from Federation University, and have a Graduate Diploma in Psychology from UNSW.

You will have time to write down your answers during the workshop alongside Madeleine who will be doing the workshop with you as if she's there in the room with you.
